Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how STRIVN ("STRIVN", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the STRIVN Player mobile app and the STRIVN player portal (together, the "Service").

STRIVN Player is a companion app for athletes whose club or team uses STRIVN. Your account is created by your coach or club, and the data you enter is shared only with the authorized staff of your team.

Data we collect

• Account & contact information — your name, and the email address and/or phone number used to sign in, as registered by your coach.
• Health & fitness information — your daily wellness check-ins, availability/readiness signal, and any injuries you declare.
• Photos — your profile photo and any photos you attach to an injury report.
• Messages & content — questions you send to the AI coach and notes you add to attendance responses.
• Device & notification data — a push notification token and device identifier, used solely to deliver notifications to your device.

We do not collect your location, contacts, calendar, financial information, or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

How we use your data

• To provide the Service — show your agenda, record attendance, store your check-ins, and share them with your authorized team staff.
• To generate AI coach responses about training load, recovery, and return from injury.
• To send notifications about events, attendance requests, and coach updates.
• To secure your account and operate the Service reliably.

We never sell your personal data, and we never use your health data or photos for advertising.

Legal basis (EEA/UK)

Where the GDPR applies, we process your data to perform the agreement between you, your club, and STRIVN, and on the basis of your and your club's consent for health-related data. You may withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights").

Sharing & service providers

We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under contract, including:

• Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — to deliver notifications.
• An AI provider — to generate AI coach responses from the questions you send.
• Our hosting and infrastructure providers — to run the Service.

Your data is also visible to the authorized staff of your own team. It is never shared publicly or with other clubs.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your team account is active. When your account is deleted, we remove your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal data, and you may object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any right, or to request deletion of your account, contact us at hello@strivn.net or use the deletion option in your account page. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and your session token is stored in your device's secure storage. Access to team data is limited to authorized staff.

Children

Athletes using STRIVN may be minors. Accounts are created by clubs, which are responsible for obtaining any required parental consent. If you believe a minor's data has been provided without proper consent, contact us and we will address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
